About Me
My name is Michelle Clark. Recently I've completed a professional two year technical program, earning me my AAS degree in Integrated Media with a core focus in Graphic Design. In addition to design, I am also skilled in fine art including drawing and painting. I have superior writing and editing skills, and I have a passion for digital and traditional photography.
I have been developing my artistic skill since I was very young. As a child, one of my hobbies was making my own story books, including writing stories and drawing illustrations for them. As I got older I took advantage of every opportunity to be involved in art. In middle school I began exploring digital art. My teachers encouraged me toward Graphic Design once they saw what I could create with a Wacom tablet. Much of my design begins as traditional illustration. During high school I started using my art to benefit others. I created some tattoo designs for friends, posters for classrooms, a web site for an elementary school, and mix CDs for which I created my own designs and packaging.
I found creating these things for others is the greatest reward in being an artist. I especially
enjoy taking someone's verbal or written concept and bringing it
to life visually.
