In spring term, first year students work in two-person creative teams to write, script, design, story board, and edit a Public Service project that features several different media deployments.

ART279: Command-Z

Command-Z's message was to promote ridership on the MAX with young people in an effort to combat global warming. Check out their Web site that features a 30-second radio spot, animatic for a television commercial, a sample web banner, billboards and print ads.

ART279: Breathing Room

Breathing Room's message was "to ensure the health of children through a smoke-free environment."

Flexitarian's mission was to encourage people to eat less meat.

ART279: Hurricane

For this cohort, the term-long project revolved around natural disasters, in this case, a Hurricane. Seven teams were created: Avalanche, Lahar, Drought, Volcanic Eruption, Tsunami, Earthquake and Flood.
